Abraham Laboriel is a musician and a session man, he has played on over 4,000 albums and soundtracks. He has also a career as a leader, his first solo album is titled "Dear Friends". Laboriel was a founding member of the bands "Friendship" and "Koinonia". Laboriel has worked with artists as diverse as Herbie Hancock, Chris Isaak, Leo Sayer, Madonna, Paul Simon, Barbra Streisand, Stanley Clarke, Lee Ritenour, Donald Fagen, Elton John, Michael Jackson, Ray Charles, Dave Grusin, Stevie Wonder, Billy Cobham, Andy Summers, Paul Jackson Jr., Crystal Lewis, Al Jarreau, Quincy Jones and many others. Often, Laboriel has played live with Justo Almario, Greg Mathieson, and drummer Bill Maxwell.
