Profile:	Al Di Meola (born Al Laurence Dimeola) burst onto the scene in 1974 as a 19 year old boy wonder with "Return to Forever". His debut as a leader is marked by the 1976 album "Land of The Midnight Sun"with the title track composed by Di Meola and dedicated to Chick Corea. Additionally his soloist career, Di Meola has collaborated with artists such as Stanley Clarke, Jean-Luc Ponty, John McLaughlin and Paco de Lucía.
