Born Alessandro Favaretto, he is an Italian guitarist active from the middle 80s. His first notable experience was as member of Dark Lord, called to substitute the departed Alex Masi. He recorded the only dark Lord studio album in 1988, then, after experiences in minor bands he pursued a solo career (he released 4 solo albums) that culminated with his membership in the internationally famous hard rock band Dokken in the first 2000s. Alex is still nowadays working on his solo projects as musician and producer too, and is having many collaborations within the heavy metal scene.
