AB 3 is the Alter Bridge's first ever concept album. It really deserves a listen (and more than one) because is a great album, all songs are solid and tight, the sound is awesome. Myles Kennedy has a rock voice with a great range, and in my opinion he's probably one of the greatest rock vocalist, Brian Marshall and Scott Phillips are an accurate and powerful rhythm section, Tremonti's lead guitar is creative and more dynamic than ever. AB 3 confirm Alter Bridge as one of the best modern rock band. The lyrics on AB 3 are very dark, sometimes poignant, surely darker than other their works, lyrics about disillusion, loneliness, and how you cope with it. Highlights: I Know It Hurts, Isolation, Breathe Again and Words Darker Than Their Wings.
