Andrew John Partridge is a founding member and main songwriter of XTC. In addition to his work with XTC, in 1980 Partridge published a record under the pseudonym "Mr. Partridge," In 1987 a single with a group called "Johnny Japes and His Jesticles", and he participated on the albums of the psychedelic alter-ego of XTC, "The Dukes of Stratosphere". Partridge has also collaborated with many other artists including: The Residents, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Thomas Dolby, Robyn Hitchcock, Joan Armatrading, Doctor & the Medics, Cathy Dennis and The Mission. Andy Partridge is the father of Holly Partridge of "The SheBeats".
