Andy Summers (born Andrew James Somers) began his career in the late sixties as a guitarist for Zoot Money's Big Roll Band and the Dantalian's Chariot, groups well known over the London Club Scene. Later. he has collaborated with many other musicians, such as Vinnie Colaiuta, Herbie Hancock, John Etheridge, Tony Levin, Brian Auger, Eliane Elias, Ginger Baker, Sting, Deborah Harry and Q-Tip, among others. In 2007, along with Sting and drummer Stewart Copeland, he re-formed The Police for a long world tour.
