Anggun Cipta Sasmi, since she was 12, had a great success in her homeland Indonesia. In 1994, she decided to pursue an international career and left Indonesia. Anggun moved to London, and after a year, she settled in Paris where she met producer Erick Benzi, who helped her to record the first French album, entitled "Au Nom de la Lune", published in 1996. In 1998, with the album "Snow on the Sahara " Anggun began the first Asian artist to break into the international music scene by releasing her first international work in 33 countries across the world.
