Profile:
Angus MacLise was a poet and a musician, mostly known as member in 1965 of the first incarnation of the Velvet Underground. MacLise, despite being in effect the first drummer of the band, he did not recorded anything officially with the Velvet Underground and he's often regarded as a mythical figure with legendary contours in the history of the band. In November 1965 MacLise left the Velvets and was replaced by Maureen Tucker.
