Anneke van Giersbergen has been the lead singer for The Dutch band "The Gathering" between 1994 and 2007. She has worked and collaborated with a large number of other bands and musicians, among them, Farmer Boys, Ayreon, Lawn, Napalm Death, Moonspell, Globus, Within Temptation, Giant Squid and Devin Townsend. She has a her own project called "Agua de Annique" and she's involved in an other project called "The Human Experimente", along with Robert Fripp, Maynard Keenan, John Wetton, Adrian Belew, Jeffrey Fayman and Dann Pursey.
