Born Ben Robert Moody, he is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and actor. He is most famous for having been co-founder and member of alternative-nu-metal band Evanescence, from which he separated in 2003 in the middle of a world tour. He then started a solo career and he is a member of goth metal band We Are The Fallen.
