Heavy Metal singer Ozzy Osbourne and guitarist Tony Iommi announced that they have recently put an end to the long legal controversy arised by Ozzy on the usage of Black Sabbath name. Tony claimed sole ownership of the band's name, Ozzy claimed for a 50 percent interest in the "Black Sabbath" trademark, along with a portion of Iommi's profits from use of the name. The happy end, both musicians stated, is in the name of their friendship and the legal suit had nothing to do with personal reasons, it was just a matter of business. This, together with other recent events (the death of Ronnie James Dio and the big shock this caused in the whole heavy rock scene, the opening by fans of The Home Of Metal in Birmingham dedicated to Black Sabbath and other bands of The Black Country) seems to re-create a magic aura around the "Godfathers of Heavy Metal" and the hope for every fan is for a fantastic reunion in the name of peace, friendship, heavy metal... and Dio.
