Profile:
Black Sabbath were formed in 1969 by vocalist Ozzy Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler and drummer Bill Ward. The original lineup spanned eight years and eight albums, though Osbourne did leave briefly in 1977 to be replaced by Dave Walker. Then, many lineup changes happened, but the original reunited for Live Aid in 1985, and again 1997 and 1999, the latter of which runs to this day.
