Awesome. Milestone in rock free improvisation - brilliant - innovative. One of the best instrumental prog metal album ever. Great musicians - extraordinary inspiration. Higly recommended!

Psychedelic metal fusion (and tribal, thanks to Bozzio's drumming). Awesome!

A fantastic Trio, an album which is a masterpiece in its genre, prog metal fusion, all songs are 'spontaneously composed' as written on the back of the front cover, masters of improvisation! For this reason, this work gains more an more value, starting from the first track, 'The Sun Road', until the last, 'Chaos/control', which are also the Black Light Syndrome's gems (Five stars cum laude). Time ago, on another my review about 'Ritual Factory' by MCM, I wrote 'This work will appeal to those who like the Naked City, Niacin, Liquid Tension Experiment, Liquid Trio Experiment and probably the two equally wonderful albums by another fantastic trio, Bozzio - Levin - Stevens, entitled 'Black Light Syndrome' and 'Situation Dangerous', so, in my opinion, I say that this work, Black Light Syndrome is probably the best album among all those mentioned above. Bozzio, Levin, Stevens blend psychedelic atmospheres, with fusion and prog metal, creating unforgettable tracks!
