Brian John Cole has played and collaborated with several artists and bands, Elton John (on Madman Across the Water, 1971), Marc Bolan and T.Rex (on Zinc Alloy and the Hidden Riders of Tomorrow), Cochise, Graham Coxon, Roger Waters, Sting, Björk, Kevin Ayers, Luke Vibert, Juno Reactor, The Stranglers, The Chumbawamba, Depeche Mode, Pete Molinari and others. Cole has also toured with R.E.M. and the Verve. He has recorded a solo album, entitled "New Hovering Dog", in 1972.
