Born Yvette Marie Stevens, she is a famous artist. In the '70s she started her career in the famous Rufus band and at the end of her collaboration with the band, Warner Bros Recordings recorded her first solo album. She decided to play again with the Rufus band from 1979 after a year of solo career until the very end in 1983. From 1984 to 1998 she had a very renomated solo career and she collaborated with famous artists during those times. Then she is continuing her solo career. During these years she collected many Grammy Awards.
