Chickenfoot is an American rock supergroup, born from an idea of following musicians that jammed together at Sammy Hagar's club Cabo Wabo, in Mexico: Sammy Hagar (vocals), Michael Anthony (bass), Chad Smith (drums). They decided to form a band and for that they needed (to use Sammy Hagar's words) "the best guitarist in the world: so let’s talk to Joe Satriani."
