Profile:
Chris Farlowe's (born John Henry Deighton and also known as Little Joe Cook) early bands are The Thunderbirds and Colosseum. He is probably best known for his hit singles "Out of Time", which rose to No. 1 in the UK in 1966, and, as Little Joe Cook, "Stormy Monday". Farlowe joined Atomic Rooster in February '72 and sang on both Made In England and Nice N' Greasy '73. His very much unique style of vocals led Rooster up to '74. After Atomic Rooster, he has continued recording and performing as "The Chris Farlowe Band" and others. In May 2000, Farlowe appeared at The Buxton Jazz & Blues Festival and In 2009 he was a featured artist in the "Maximum Rhythm and Blues Tour".
