Chris Laurence is an English double bass player probably best known for his work with Tony Oxley in various trios, in the 80s. Laurence has collaborated on recordings by many other artists, such as, David Gilmour, Michael Nyman, John Surman, Alan Skidmore, Frank Ricotti Quartet and Elton Dean, to name a few.
