Born Charles Alfred Leavell, he is an American pianist and keyboardist, most known for being a member of The Allman Brothers Band in the 70s, a founding member of the Sea Level, and a session musician who mostly collaborated with Eric Clapton and the Rolling Stones. He also became their keyboardist in the 80s and 90s and still tours regularly with the Stones.
