Profile:

Coldplay are a British rock band who achieved international success with the single 'Yellow', contained in their debut album 'Parachutes' (2000), their second album 'A Rush Of Blood To The Head' (2002) marked their consecration; the album went straight to number 1 of the U.K. albums Chart and to number 5 of the Billboard 200. The next album, X & Y (2005) received a cold reception from critics, but it still was able to mantain the sales of previous works. With their fourth studio album 'Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends', pulled by hit 'Viva la Vida' and produced by Brian Eno, the band also won three Grammys. Coldplay with their fourth studio albums have reached the aim of 50 million total albums sold.
