Konrad "Conny" Plank was a record producer and musician. As a producer and sound engineer, Plank collaborated with many bands and musicians, including Kraftwerk, Cluster, Ultravox, Killing Joke, and others, covering a wide range of genres, from Kosmische and electronic music, to rock. His work has greatly influenced studio production and engineering techniques worldwide. He also had a notable career as a musician, he played on albums of Cluster, Os Mundi and Guru Guru, amongst others, and between 1979 and 1986, he along with Dieter Moebius, recorded five albums under the name of "Moebius & Plank".
