Cory McCulloch, in 2000, together with Jamie Stewart formed the Xiu Xiu. The band was their third collaborative effort, in fact, previously they had worked together in two bands: IBOPA (the Indestructible Beat of Palo Alto) and in "Ten in the Swear Jar". In 2002, Cory McCulloch decided to dedicate himself primarily to the production of future Xiu Xiu albums. Now, McCulloch, occasionally, joined Xiu Xiu.
