Dan "the Automator" Nakamura is a musician and record producer, best known for his works in the late 90s and early 00s. He is most popular in the underground and behind the scenes of music business. Nakamura has worked and collaborated with musicians and bands, such as, Primal Scream, Eels, Dr. Octagon, Damon Albarn from Blur, Cornershop, Solesides, Kasabian and Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. In 2000 he also joined the project Gorillaz. In the late 00s, he has formed a band along with Mike Patton called "Crudo".
