Daniel Henry Edward 'Danny' Thompson is a musician, multi-instrumentalist and record producer. Danny Thompson was a founding member of the British folk rock band Pentangle. he has also played and collaborated with several artists and bands, including Richard Thompson, John Martyn, Alexis Korner's Blues Incorporated (of which he was also a member for five years between 1964 and 1968), Tim Buckley, Rod Stewart, Talk Talk and many others.
