Born in 1968, Dave Fridmann is a musician and record producer; he was the bassist and a founding member of Mercury Rev. He then gave up his musicianship in 1993 to concentrate on producing other artists' records. He is most famous as co-producer of all releases by Mercury Rev and The Flaming Lips.
