David Eric Grohl is famous as member and drummer of Nirvana until 1994 (year of their disbandment following the tragic death of Kurt Cobain), and then as founding member, frontman and songwriter of Foo Fighters. Grohl has also collaborated with many artists and bands such as Killing Joke, Queens of the Stone Age, Probot and Them Crooked Vultures, a new project with the ex Led Zeppelin John Paul Jones and Josh Homme (Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age, Eagles of Death Metal ). Prior to Nirvana Dave Grohl had played in a rock, punk-rock band called "Scream" from 1987 to 1990.
