Dave Holland is an English jazz bassist and composer who has been performing and recording for five decades, and has lived in the United States for 40 years. He started in the late 60s with strong collaborations with artists such as Miles Davis and Chick Corea, then at the beginning of the 70s he pursued a solo career as bandleader which lasts until nowadays.
