David Hood has played, as sideman, with many musicians, such as, Art Garfunkel, Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin, John Hiatt, Linda Ronstadt, James Brown, Willie Nelson, Eddie Floyd, Rod Stewart and Arthur Conley, amongst others. Hood, in early '70, has been also a member of Traffic. He also plays the trombone and he is a member of the "Alabama Music Hall of Fame".
