Dee Palmer (she is a transsexual woman who was known as David Palmer for many years) is a musician, arranger and keyboardist, since 1977, from the album 'Songs from the Wood', a full-time member of Jethro Tull. Palmer also worked on their previous albums, as orchestrator, arranger and occasionally as keyboardist. In addition to his work with Jethro Tull, Palmer, as arranger, collaborated with several rock bands, such as, The Beatles, Yes, Genesis, Queen and  Pink Floyd, among others.
