David Sanborn is a musician, composer, actor and host. Since late 1960s, Sanborn has been a highly regarded session musician, he has played with many artists, such as, amongst others, Roger Daltrey, The Grateful Dead, Gil Evans, Al Jarreau, Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, James Taylor, Little Feat, the Brecker Brothers, Kenny G, George Benson, Pure Prairie League, Steely Dan, Jaco Pastorius, Paul Simon, Bob James, Tommy Bolin, Todd Rundgren, Elton John, David Bowie, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Bryan Ferry, Carly Simon, the Japanese pop star Utada Hikaru, Billy Joel, Linda Ronstadt, Eagles, Roger Waters and Kenny Garrett. As film's soundtrack composer, Sanborn has released several works, such as, Moment to Moment (1975), Lethal Weapon 2 (1989), 3 (1992) and 4 (1998), Stelle Sulla Citta (1983), Finnegan Begin Again (1985) and Psycho III (1986). As a leader, his first album was published in 1975, it's titled "Taking Off ".
