Dennis Chambers is a self-taught musician, he is much renowned for his technical capabilities. In 1978, he joined the Parliament/Funkadelic, with whom he remained until 1985. Chambers has published his first solo release, titled "Big City", in 1991. He has collaborated and/or toured with many musicians, such as, Mike Stern, John Scofield, Steely Dan, Carlos Santana, John McLaughlin, Bob Berg and many others.
