Born Don Fagenson, he is an American musician and record producer. As a musician he is most famous for his succesful band in the 80s, Was (Not Was). As a producer he worked with the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Ziggy Marley, Bob Seger, Al Green, Garth Brooks, Ringo Starr, Iggy Pop, Lyle Lovett, Kris Kristofferson, Joe Cocker, Hootie and The Blowfish, Zucchero, among the others.
