Their first album is surely among their best works in their entire discography, Pull me under, Take the time, Metroplis part I and Learning to live are really great tracks!

I think this album is very often over evaluated. Nothing more than an honest and decent prog rock metal work.

One of the best album by Dream theater, I sincerely prefer the instrumental parts because I don't like so much the James Labrie vocals, however, my preferred songs are Pull me under, Take the Time, Metropolis and Learning to' Live. With this album Dream Theater earned a deserved international fame. Higly recommended.
