A living legend, Sir Elton Hercules John (born Reginald Kenneth Dwight), is an English singer-songwriter, composer and pianist. During his fantastic career Elton John has sold more than 250 million records and he certainly is one of the most successful artists of all time. His single "Candle in the Wind 1997" (sung in memory of Lady Diana at her funeral ceremony) has sold over 33 million copies worldwide, and is the best selling single in Billboard history. He has more than 50 Top 40 hits, and his succesful songs Grammy Awards, Academy Awards, a Golden Globe Awards are uncountable. Elton John was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994.
