Eric Kamau Gravatt is known for his work with the Weather Report between 1971 and 1973, with them Gravatt played on the albums "Sweetnighter", "I Sing the Body Electric" and on "Live in Japan" (1972). Gravatt collaborated also with many other artists and after a long pause, he has begun to perform with McCoy Tyner.
