Profile:
|
Evanescence is an American rock band founded by singer/pianist Amy Lee and guitarist Ben Moody. Their line-up has changed a lot through the years and Moody himself is no more part of the band. After years of recording demos and private albums, Evanescence released their first studio full-length, Fallen, in 2003. And it was immediate success, it sold more than 17 million copies worldwide and the band won two Grammy Awards. Nowadays Evanescence are widely considered one of the most important (and famous) nu-alternative-metal bands in the world.
