A nice little exhibition is hosted in the Snap Galleries, next to Piccadilly Circus in London. It opened on 13th April and will last until 28th May 2011. It's about some photographs (just six shoots) by photographer Iain MacMillan, taken on a hot day of August 1969 in Abbey Road - London. Nothing so interesting some might think, but these 6 photos are maybe the most famous in rock'n'roll history, surely the most famous walk on a road zebra crossing, "performed" by four people heading towards the Abbey Road studios: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. One of these 6 photos was chosen as the actual cover for the Beatles "Abbey Road" album, the first British Beatles LP without the name of the band or the title of the album on the front. What is new (and somehow funny) about this exhibition, is the fact that a dozen of bystanders were pictured (forever) in the most famous photo in rock'n'roll history, and probably they never realized it. Now everybody can see these people (properly highlighted in the pictures) and, who knows, could someone recall being there on the 8 August, 1969?
