Profile:
Faces are an English rock band formed in 1969 by members of the Small Faces after Steve Marriott left that group to form Humble Pie. The remaining Small Faces formed Faces with new singer Rod Stewart and new guitarist Ronnie Wood, both coming from their experience in The Jeff Beck Group. Faces released four studio albums and toured until 1975, when Rod Stewart that simultaneously pursued a solo recording career, left the band and Ronnie Wood toured with The Rolling Stones, whom he later joined. After many years of disbandment, in May 2010, the Faces announced plans to reform with former Simply Red vocalist Mick Hucknall.
