Gary Marx (born Mark Pearman) is a founding member, together with Andrew Eldritch, of the Sisters of Mercy. Marx left the band in 1985 to form the "Ghost Dance" together with Anne Marie Hurst, ex lead singer of "The Skeletal Family".
