Gary Thain is mostly known as a member and bass player of Uriah Heep and of Keef Hartley's band. Thain worked and collaborated also with Champion Jack Dupree, Martha Velez, Miller Anderson, Pete York Percussion Band and on Ken Hensley solo album "Proud Words on a Dusty Shelf" (1973).
