Born Gavin McGregor Rossdale, he is an English musician, best known as the founder, lead singer, rhythm guitarist and charismatic frontman of the alternative rock band Bush. After Bush's disbandment in 2002, he was the lead singer and guitarist for Institute, and also began a solo career as musician and actor. In 2010 Bush re-united and Gavin is their only founding member. Rossdale is married to singer Gwen Stefani.
