This album is a missed opportunity. After works on which the band had showed some good things, on this 'Genesis', Phil Collins & Co. go to a  too commercial direction, the songs (perhaps except Mama) are  boring and without atmosphere and creativity. This album is the one that marked the end of a great band (great also subsequently the departure of Peter Gabriel).
