Gustav Theodor Holst was a composer. in 1905 he became music master at St Paul's Girls' School and, in 1907, director of music at Morley College. Holst composed almost 200 works, including ballets, operas, choral hymns and songs. His most famous work is the orchestral suite "The Planets".
