Profile:
Formed in 1977 in Edinburgh, as an idea of guitarist and volcalist John Mortimer, Holocaust are one of the numerous bands that took part at New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM). Their fame and career mostly remained in the underground but some of their songs have been covered and played by famous metal bands like Metallica, both in studio and in live performances.
