Hukwe Ubi Zawose, born in 1938 or 1940, was a Tanzanian musician, who gained international attention thanks to his work with Peter Gabriel, on Gabriel's Real World Records label.
Zawose's latest work, entitled 'Assembly' and published in 2002 for Real World Records, was a collaborative album along with guitarist
and producer Michael Brook.
