Ian Paice loves Italy and when he is not busy with Deep Purple, it's not rare to spot him playing and jamming with local musicians (be them professionals like Tolo Marton, or Deep Purple's cover bands) in pubs or theaters, mostly he performs on the Noth-East part of the country.

Ian Paice made his name as the drummer of Deep Purple. As of Jon Lord's departure in 2002, he is the only founding member of the band still performing with the group. He also recorded and toured with Whitesnake and Gary Moore in the first 80s.
