Born James Newell Osterberg Jr, he is an Icon in the Rock scene, his career started when he was at school as a drummer of some school bands in the '60s, then he played in The Stooges, from '68 to '75. From '76 to '78 he collaborated with artists such as David Bowie, then, from the '80s he started his own solo career like one of the Stars in the Rock World. Back with his band, finally, The Stooges.
