There're only two albums, maybe three, which easily can be considered among the best hard rock and heavy metal live albums ever recorded: the first is, without doubt, Made in Japan by Deep Purple, the second is Live after Death, and probably the third is Live 1973 by Uriah Heep. Live After Death obviously is more 'heavy metal' than other two, and it's a great, great live album! Release - Label:Emi; Year:1998; Code:7243 4 96921 0 7

Album Card
Live After Death: is the first live album by Iron Maiden (if we exclude 1980 EP 'Live!! + One', and 1981 EP Maiden Japan). It was recorded during the band's World Slavery Tour, over 4 nights at Hammersmith Odeon, in London (October 08, 09, 10 and 12, 1984, on side D), and 4 nights (Sides A, B and C) at Long Beach Arena, in Los Angeles,(March 14, 15, 16 and 17, 1985).
Bruce Dickinson plays guitar on 'Revelations'.
Live after Death was mixed at Record Plant Studio A, in Los Angeles, between July 8 and August 3, 1985, and mastered at Capital Records, in Hollywood.
