I consider this their greatest album. maybe because it was my first heavy metal, maybe because on that summer day of 1986 when I first put the cassette on the "small" recorder and heard Nicko's drumming at the beginning of Where Eagles Dare, I was shoved to the other side of the room... and never recovered after that... Immense guitar solos by the 2 axemen in every song and... To Tame a Land, their first long suite based on literature, suites then became a trademark in every Maiden's album. Highlights Where Eagles Dare (one their 5 best songs for me) Die With Your Boots On Still Life, To Tame a Land. Great!!!
