A week ago I listened to their new single, Irresistible Force, and with a big curiosity I bought the album. I have to say that the songs are very different from their usual sound, but this is not a limitation, Jane' s Addiction are evolved adding maturity and style to their music, for sure this work will not like so much to long time fans, but it's innovative and very interesting, it's less raw and tough but more complex and sophisticated. Good.

This album is a good album, it's solid, self-indulgent, genuine, over the top, and overall it has a very good sound and great atmosphere. Surely it's less wilde than their first albums of the late 80s early 90s, but the songs are much more developped, mature, and experimental too, but always clearly identifiable as Jane's Addiction. Probably it isn't their best album but it's however a very good work (in my opinion their best album is their debut studio album, 'Nothing's Shocking').
